Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I had plans for writing my usual weekly update on my trip today. But somehow the day disappeared into a time sucking black hole and now it's 10.15pm and I have to go to work tomorrow, so writing a proper blog post seems way too much like hard work right now. So instead, I'll just tell you that I broke 10,000 words in NaNoWriMo, which is further than I ever thought I'd get. High five, self. High five.
So. What's new with you guys?

Breaking 10k words? MAJOR. Congrats, high fives, and the candy of your choice gently thrown in your general direction! Keep us posted.

  3. I broke 10K last night too. (I was behind) I found the first few days so hard and hated every word, yesterday was better. Hope the weekend is kind to your word count :)

  4. I'm sitting at just over 17,000 words at the moment, but I'm not pushing myself to write much more than the 1,667 a day that I need to break 50,000 because I'm using this more as a way of getting into the habit of writing every day, rather than writing an entire novel in a month. But that's partly because I have absolutely no idea how long this is going to end up being!

High five for breaking 10K, friend.

  5. Hell, you're dealing with school and exams and stuff at the same time! I just sit on my butt all day and occasionally look for a job... Your word count is far more impressive than mine once you take that into consideration!

  6. I'm on track to break 20K tomorrow night, which is pretty exciting. Although it was equally exciting when I passed 15K because that makes it longer than my honours thesis and therefore the longest thing I've ever written!
