Forty seven plastic spoons

So I WILL eventually get around to telling you guys all about my trip in the order in which it happened. But this particular moment of the trip is too good to keep to myself until I reach the appropriate point.

Yes, Lor and I made a vlog while we were in Orlando. And it is amazing. And because Lor edited it rather than me, it's of a much higher standard than my usual vlogs (from an editing perspective, at least. The content is probably on a similar level of ridiculousness.) YOU'RE WELCOME.

Also, we didn't have a tripod, so in ADDITION to rearranging the entire hotel room to be able to sit both of us in front of the camera, we had to kludge together a solution that would allow us to actually record without the need to hold the camera. That solution? THIS:

I promise that we both have normal skin tones in real life. The hotel lighting just made us really really yellow-y orange. I'd also like to give a shout out to Youtube for once again picking the derpiest shot of me to use as the screenshot for this video. SIGH.

Enjoy, kids.

Lor, I miss you. Come visit me.

K xx

  1. This is in no way a reflection of you personally but dear lord the Australian accent isn't pretty next to the American one. It's inevitable that the accent sounds thicker next to any other accent.

Am I the only one who gets creeped out by the song "it's a small world after all"...just in that clip...it's like I'm going to fall asleep and then ghost children are going to come attack me while singing that song. Ok...just me.

    1. The song is freaking awful. Just be glad that we (by which I mean Lor) spend up the footage and put a decent song over the top of it so that you didn't have to experience it in real time like we did!! ;)

  2. You know what they say. The friends that cough together...stay together.

  3. Completely awesome! Also, I shall go directly for the tube of pringles next time I'm in need of an impromptu tripod - it seems to work beautifully.

    1. I'm not sure how well it would work with an SLR, but it served admirably with a crappy point and shoot!!

    1. I would recommend buying less nailpolish as a money saving technique, but obviously that's going to save you far less money than it would if you lived here. So carry on as normal. <3
