New York - the "Ground Zero" edition

After the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, we headed to the 9/11 Memorial for our allocated ticket time. Aside from mentioning that they had the world's most cheerful security staff and police in attendance, I'm going to let the Memorial speak for itself.

Next up, meeting friends from home on the other side of the world is awesome but kind of weird, beetroot should not be used as a sweetener, and yet another Irish pub. (Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure Love Actually lied to us and "just your normal American bar" is actually an Irish pub...)

  4. The last time I was there, it was actual ground zero and not the memorial. It looks lovely and I'd love to see it sometime soon.

    Yay pretty pictures! :)

  7. Awesome NYC at night pics! Also your gummy Statues of Liberty are reminiscent of my gummy lobsters I got in Salem. ...In case you were wondering.
